All at Once Community no concerto de Jack Johnson

Fantástico!
Só me resta dizer… FANTÁSTICO!...
Assim foi o concerto de Jack Johnson no passado dia 26 de Junho, em Lisboa.
O espectáculo, propriamente dito, começou com Mason Jennings e G. Love & Special Sauce, que tiveram a seu cargo a primeira parte do concerto.
Jack Johnson entrou em palco já perto das 22 horas com o tema Hope do álbum Sleep Through The Static.

Já aqui tinha feito referência às suas preocupações ambientais e isso voltou a ser notório no concerto. Além das mensagens que sistematicamente iam passando nos ecrãs colocados no palco e que momentos antes do início do concerto mostraram algumas actividades desenvolvidas pela Liga para Protecção da Natureza (LPN), Associação Nacional de conservação da Natureza (Quercus) e Grupo de Estudos de Ordenamento do Território e Ambiente (GEOTA), havia também, na plateia do Pavilhão Atlântico a tenda “Village Green” da All at Once Community onde, através do passaporte, se evidenciavam os actos desenvolvidos por cada um, tendentes à preservação do meio ambiente.

Jack Johnson e as preocupações ambientais

É hoje que irei usufruir da minha prendinha do Dia de São Valentim!... Jack Johnson ao vivo no Pavilhão Atlântico. Daqui a duas horas lá estarei.

Entretanto, sabiam que por apenas mais 0,50€ por bilhete poderiam compensar as emissões de carbono emitidas pelo vosso carro na viagem para o concerto do Jack Johnson e reduzir a vossa pegada ambiental?

O valor das doações será utilizado para comprar fogões e fornos solares destinados a comunidades africanas (cada fogão ou forno poupa cerca de 3,4 toneladas de dióxido de carbono por ano, reduzindo a necessidade de queimar madeira e lixo) e evitar a desflorestação, permitindo assim a protecção de grandes áreas verdes.

Recordo-me como se fosse hoje.
Estávamos no fim da década de oitenta e esta, entre outras do mesmo autor, foi uma das músicas que marcou a minha adolescência.
Guardo dois discos vinil de 45 rotações, queimadinhos de tanto tocar. Felizmente surgiu o laser e com ele o leitor de CD's.
